Forecast Record has published 1,438 changes to public records on 35 days, the latest on 7 November 2026. Each line shows the field, the old and the new value and why it changed; a confirmed factual error is always corrected, whether or not the name behind it was removed.

What a correction is
When something we published turns out to be wrong (who made a prediction, a date, a price, a result, a calculation or a conclusion), we correct it and keep the earlier value here with the reason. A confirmed factual error is always corrected, whether or not a name was withdrawn. New matches and newly read sources are not corrections: they are listed on each profile under “Changes to this record”. Picks added when we read a publication again are listed here, with the correction that added them.

When a correction or method change moves a headline number, the earlier figure stays here. New results and extended coverage are listed on each profile under “Changes to this record”. Of 402 changes to headline numbers, 114 are in this section and the other 288 are listed below by reason; all of them are in the JSON of this page.

Version 1.1 reported the share of collected predictions that passed every processing step. From 9 October 2026 the study counts only predictions that can be checked against a match result. The version 1.1 figures were retired on 9 October 2026.
