Forecast Record publishes 619 profiles of football tipsters and editorial sources and has settled 31,635 of their public picks as of (source: our own settlement journal). If one of those pages is about you, this page explains what you can do. Every option is free, immediate and does not require you to agree with us.
What a profile is
A profile is a record of public statements: what was said, where it was published, when we found it, the price available at the time and what happened after the event. Numbers carry their sample size, their window and the version of the method that produced them.
What you can do, without asking us
Download the full record of your own picks as CSV from your page (the same file the site itself is built from).
Embed the card from your page on your own site. It is an image and a link; it carries no script and sets no cookie, and it updates when new picks are settled.
Send a comment to be published next to your numbers. A comment confirmed from a channel or an address in your profile is published word for word and is not edited by us.
What you can ask of us
Correct a factual error. Send what is wrong and what it should be; a confirmed error is corrected within 48 hours and the change is listed publicly in the corrections log, with the old value and the new one.
Object, or ask for removal. You can object to our processing of data about you or ask for it to be erased. A person decides, on the grounds you give and the grounds for publishing, within one month: the outcome can be removing the profile, withdrawing the name so that the record continues under a number, correcting the data or publishing your statement next to it, or a refusal with the specific reason and your right to complain to the supervisory authority. We do not remove a record on request alone, because a record from which unhappy subjects can disappear stops measuring anything.
Have a quotation removed. A rights holder's request to remove a specific quotation is executed; the record of the pick remains, the quoted text does not.
How we confirm it is you
One of two ways, and we do not ask for a document: a post or a message from a channel already listed in the profile, or an email from an address published on that channel. Confirmation is what lets us publish your response and decide an objection or an erasure request. It does not give anyone the right to change history, ours or theirs.
What this is not
Claiming a profile is not a partnership, does not cost anything and does not change any number. There is nothing to buy here, and no place in any ranking is for sale: the order of every table is computed before any commission is known.
