   "body": "Forecast Record publishes this site and is responsible for what it publishes: the numbers, the methodology, the corrections, and the decisions on requests. Forecast Record is the name of the publication. We are not a bookmaker and do not accept bets.\n\nTo reach us about an error, a response, an objection, or anything else, use the form on the right of reply page. Every message gets a reference number on screen and appears in the public request log without your name or text. The privacy notice explains how we handle personal data."

   "body": "Forecast Record is run by an editorial team that publishes under the name of the site. To show who is responsible for each step, here are the roles and what each one does.\n\n- Extraction: reads what a tipster published and turns it into a recorded statement: the match, the market, the selection and the price if one was stated. Every counted statement is matched against the exact quoted words. When it is not certain who said something, no name is attached.\n- Settlement: settles every pick from the final score under the rule published for its market, at a level stake. This is done by code; every published number can be recomputed from the ledger, and each build re-runs that recomputation against itself.\n- Arguments: the reasons tipsters and sources give are shown as short quotations with their source and time. A summary in our own words appears only after a person has checked it against the quotation; until then only the quotation is shown.\n- Identity: checks, against public sources, that a byline belongs to the person it names. The date of the check and the sources are printed on the page.\n- Corrections and requests: a person decides every reported error, response, objection and removal request on its grounds, and the outcome is logged. Every correction (whether it came from a request, from a restated result or from a change of method) is listed with the old and the new value in the [corrections log](/corrections/); requests are made through the [right of reply](/right-of-reply/).",

   "body": "- A pick is counted as part of the live record only if we recorded it, or it was submitted to us, before kick-off.\n- Every pick we record stays in the record, losses included; a pick deleted by its author after publication stays with a note.\n- The same method applies to everyone, whether we found the tipster or the tipster came to us. Nobody can pay to be added, removed or placed.\n- Numbers are never changed silently. A changed number keeps its earlier value and the reason in the [corrections log](/corrections/).\n- A number that is unknown is shown as unknown.\n- How the site earns money, and what money never touches, is explained on [How we earn money](/how-we-earn/).",

We record what football tipsters and sources publish, keep picks we recorded before kick-off apart from history restored later, price live picks at the market price when we first recorded them and settle every pick against the final score. Every number is printed with its sample size and interval, and places in our tables follow published rules only."
